Wow. My last post was right after BarCamp Vancouver 2008…which means it’s been close to two months since I last blogged! It’s been two of the most crazy-intense months of my life:
- I moved! Back into the neighbourhood near-ish where I grew up, Little Mountain / Mount Pleasant, about 20 blocks from where I went to high school, and a 15 minute walk from the childhood home, just as I’ve dreamed of doing for the past five years. It’s been boxes and furniture assembly ever since.
- It’s been over a month since the SkyTrain Unconference wrapped up. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about it that I hope to get down on paper soon.
- I went to the last Pecha Kucha Night in Vancouver, and am planning to attend the next one, tomorrow night at The Park Theatre. (After I stop in on the Vancouver Bloggers Meetup, of course.)
- Things have been very out of the ordinary on the personal front, which has taken a lot of time and attention away from other things in my life.
I’ve had a suspicion for a while now – I have no problems reflecting on things, but it’s the reporting aspect of that that trips me up at times, even though I know and see the value of it all the time. The urge to hibernate is strong in me; I’m looking forward to casting that off a bit. But first, casting off this cold would really help…
