Having been through the Honours presentations once (when I was presenting on my proposal), I’m now slightly more confident that I know what’s going to happen the next time around when I’m going to present my report.
Out of curiosity, is there anyone reading this that would want to attend my final report presentation? It will be roughly 15 minutes, likely in the first week of April somewhere, and the title of my report (so far) is “Social Change, New Media, and Everyday Makers: A Case Study of Toronto Transit Camp”. The difficulty in timing your attendance is that I may be going before or after other presentations that may or may not run late, thus sending the agenda careening down a crevasse of 40 minutes late.
Moreover, is there anyone who wants to come who is prevented from coming because the presentation is up at SFU Burnaby instead of SFU Harbour Centre? Please comment with your thoughts.
It will be a great time! You’ll get to see me quivering in my stylist yet affordable boots as the School of Communication grills me on the academic value of my project! …or something. If I can swing it, I’ll stream it on the Intarwebs; but if I hear that people want the presentation downtown, then I’ll see if I can ask people to consider having the presentation there, then I can get someone else to do the streaming for me!

Hi,
I would be like to attend your Transit Camp presentation. Please keep me in the loop. We have been building a revolutionary transit trip planning site and would like your feedback. Currently it is in advanced beta and will have a 1.0 version up by early March.
Thanks,
PatC
Pat,
Thanks for the comment. The site looks interesting, I look forward to seeing it when you’re ready to go live. Have you heard of the OpenTransit project out of Toronto, by any chance?
Karen
Hi Karen,
I’ll come for sure. Just let me know when and where.
Best,
Raul
