Over at Charlie on the MBTA, Charlie has posted an open letter to the commissioner of the MBTA for a TransitCamp. I’m going to be keeping an eye on their efforts.
Meanwhile, I’ve pulled my act together and sent out invites for the Vancouver Transit Camp Google group, codename vantransitcamp. I’ve also started doing some of the recommended reading around transit in Vancouver, such as the Bus Riders Union and BEST. I’m probably being a bit premature, but I want to believe that there’s still plenty of room in itty-bitty Vancouver for a TransitCamp. Now I just want to do enough talking, reading, visioning and collaborating to prove it!
